Important Announcements

On November 12, 2011 I am going to hold a workshop (at my house) to teach ladies how to make their own Elderberry Syrup.  This is a great natural remedy to have on hand throughout the winter.   Studies have shown that it is good for colds, fevers, respiratory problems and the flu.  Further research has shown that it is safe for pregnant or nursing women and children ages one and up.
The cost will be $10 per person but if you bring a friend/s it will be $8 for each of you.  The cost of the workshop will cover all of the ingredients and materials needed to make the syrup.  You will leave with a packet of information that will be useful in making the syrup yourself plus your own pint jar of E.S.  This same amount of syrup costs more than $15 at the GNC so this will be a great deal!
Please just let me know before the middle of October if you are interested in coming so I can make sure to have enough materials and syrup for everyone.  I am limiting the workshop to 10 women so hurry and reserve your spot!

*Please keep in mind that I am not a healthcare professional and I encourage you to research Elderberry syrup for yourself before taking it.

The Oconee Conservatory of Fine Arts is starting its fall classes at the beginning of October.  Classes include but are not limited to art, music, dance, yoga and crafts.  Their programs are geared toward home school families and the elderly but anyone is welcome to sign up.
Hannah will be taking Beginner Art which meets for one hour once a week.  The best part is that our neighbor, Miss Emily, is teaching the class!
Call 888-788-4322 or visit their website for additional information.
