Product Review: Calendula Cream

from California Baby.

My poor sweet Sammy gets eczema so bad in the winter.  He gets bright pink scaly spots scattered from his torso, to his elbows, to the backs of his knees.  I've used various products in the past that sort of helped but never to my satisfaction (I'm looking at you Aveeno & Eucerin.)  With my new interest in herbal remedies I knew there had to be something to help him.
After research showed that calendula is the best herbal remedy for eczema, I found a recipe to make my own Calendula Salve.  Unfortunately I haven't been able to get all the ingredients I need, so for the time being I bought California Baby's Calendula Cream.  It's made with all natural organic ingredients so I thought it would be the next best thing.
I excitedly (albeit, a bit grudgingly) shelled over $13 for this 2oz container of lotionized gold.  After about three days I had to admit it was worth every bit of money I paid for it.  I use it two times a day on Samuel and now you can hardly tell where his eczema spots were.  It is very very light weight and has a wonderful citrus scent to it.  I love it.

I bought mine at Target but you can can also find it at Toys R Us/Babies R Us.  Or order it directly from the website.  California Baby has a huge selection of natural, organic products to choose from.
I have my eye on this...
and this
 and this.
