Sorry. I know I've been neglecting my lovely new blog. But a lot has been happening in the Clark family!
First of all...we were sick again with another mutant virus. Either a really bad cold or a minor flu. We're not sure which. Regardless, it left us all with secondary infections (Samuel's first infection and antibiotics in 3 years!). We were so sick for two weeks and I didn't have the motivation to even get up off of the couch, much less blog.
But here is the real reason I've been neglecting my blog...
Catherine Louise and Samantha Jean Clark were born on March 15th to Mr. Clark's brother David and his wife Karen. Born at 34 weeks they only weighed 3 lbs and 2 oz and are currently in the NCCU. Dave wanted to return to work and start his leave after the twins came home so he asked if we could come up to help Karen while he worked. So I went up this past Sunday and Bobby & the kids came up on Thurs. I spent the week cleaning and snuggling my two sweet nieces.
After a few minor setbacks for everyone -babies and mom- they all appear to be making progress. Please pray that the Lord will strengthen Catherine & Samantha's fragile little bodies so they will be able to go home soon. Also pray for physical healing for Karen -she had a c-section and is currently dealing with a setback in that area. The emotional & physical stress of having two babies in the NCCU is also a lot to handle so pray that the Lord will strengthen and encourage her as well.
For some reason I cannot get my pictures to load! Technology is very frustrating some times. To see pictures of the twins visit our family blog, The Clark Chronicles.
